  <b><br> Key Responsibilities:</b>
 </div>
 <ul>
  <li>Provide subject matter expertise and deliver innovative solutions to HR Partners and leaders on ER matters, corrective actions and performance management.</li>
  <li>Work across multiple business lines and to conduct ER investigations in accordance with best practices, guidelines and key ER principles.</li>
  <li>Works in partnership with ER team, HRPBs and Legal Department and relevant partners to lead thorough and objective investigations regarding complaints of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, misconduct and serious policy violations.</li>
  <li>Serve as first point of contact for PX team and HRBPs for managing and resolving ER related matters.</li>
  <li>Responsible for providing guidance and training to PX Advisors to support their development in managing ER issues.</li>
  <li>Partner with ER Director to develop strategies to support the business and PX team, and proactively develop solutions to address trends to support attraction, retention and development of talent and capabilities across the business.</li>
  <li>Analyze ER trends and recommend actions, solutions and strategies to address opportunities.</li>
  <li>Identify and implement digital tools and resources to support ER function and deployment of ER related data. This includes a platform for case management, utilization of data analytics/reporting, and trend analysis to support people related solutions and business objectives.</li>
  <li>Leverage data, dashboards and analytics to show progress and trends across Vertex goals, and support process optimization.</li>
  <li>Lead special projects that positively impact our workforce, promote company values and enhance the employee experience.</li>
 </ul>
 <p><b>Required Education Level:</b></p>
 <ul>
  <li>Bachelor's degree required</li>
 </ul>
 <p><b>Required Experience:</b></p>
 <p>Solid ER experience in Pharma industry, supporting functions in Commercial, Research, Manufacturing, Med Affairs, Regulatory and International. Ability to work independently, cross functionally, multi-task, project management skills, excellent communication and report writing skills, and change agility<b>. </b>Previously managed an ER team and high case volume.</p>

  <li>Typically requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in ER, or the equivalent combination of education and experience</li>
 </ul>
 <p><b> Required Knowledge/Skills:</b></p>
 <ul>
  <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li>
  <li>Proven experience in managing multiple projects/tasks in a fast-paced environment</li>
  <li>Fluent in English, proficient and conversant in French, and Portuguese preferred</li>
  <li>Fluent in English, proficient and conversant in French. Portuguese is a plus.</li>
  <li>Demonstrated experience in process</li>
  <li>Demonstrated experience with problem-solving and prioritization in an innovative environment</li>
  <li>Digital Literacy experience required including Microsoft, Workday, Analytic dashboarding</li>
  <li>Human resources experience, including experience implementing HR strategies, expertise in the areas of employee experience, talent mobility, organizational effectiveness, management development and change management</li>
