About

  • We invite you to apply for our Discover Programmes (Discover or #DiscoverDigital), taking place in Central London on Thursday 4th April 2024. It is a great chance to work alongside McKinsey consultants and professional coaches in a number of skill building workshops. You will experience the way we define and solve a business case study as well as develop core interpersonal skills.

We would like to get to know students in their first or penultimate year of undergraduate studies who:

  • Are based in the United Kingdom and Ireland
  • Have an outstanding record of academic performance and leadership
  • Enjoy problem solving and creative thinking
  • Are interested in learning more about a career in consulting
  • Please note that #DiscoverDigital applicants must be in their first or penultimate year of undergraduate studies in the fields of science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM).

Application process:

  • To express your interest, please submit a 1-2-page CV by Sunday 3 March 2024. A cover letter is not necessary. 
  • If you are interested in Discover, please select London (United Kingdom) as your first office practice preference. To apply for #DiscoverDigital please select McKinsey Digital/London UK. Please note that you will be asked to select 3 office practice preferences as per our guidelines (you can select the same office practice preference more than once).

At this event, you will:

  • Crack a real-life case—take a behind-the-scenes tour of a business case study and learn more about the meaningful work we do
  • Build on your strengths—work with our consultants and professional coaches to sharpen your problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • Get to know us—meet our colleagues from the United Kingdom, and learn about the various career opportunities that McKinsey offers
