  • Ability to excel in a stressful environment, properly prioritize and manage several competing initiatives while meeting firm deadlines
  • Strong software skills in MS products: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.
  • Solid understanding of economic concepts with ability to learn applied financial concepts on the role
  • Previous experience using online research tools such as Bloomberg
  • Strong technical skills – Python, Microsoft PowerBI, Jira (or similar tool)
  • In order to be eligible for these student positions, you must either:
  • Be returning back to school after the work term end-date; or
  • If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating immediately after the work term), you must require the full work term as a mandatory component in order to graduate successfully

Responsibilities

  • Creating internal and external (client) facing materials to support sales efforts and existing client reviews.
  • Contributing to targeted sales campaigns through data driven pipeline creation, sales pitch material design, storyboarding and activity tracking/reporting.
  • Assisting with the preparation of routine reporting for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Performing market research for internal circulation and usage in targeted client marketing materials.
  • Participating and assisting in client and prospect meetings/interactions.
  • Documenting processes or upgrading existing procedure manuals.
  • Developing product or service knowledge and competence in tools and business processes used in the department.
  • Other projects and assignments as required that require analytical, research, strategic and problem solving skills.
