What is the duration of the internship?
The internship runs from August 2025 to May 2026, with the possibility of position renewal.
How many hours per week will I be expected to work?
Interns are expected to work 5 to 10 flexible hours per week, determined between the supervisor and the intern.

Is there an age requirement for applicants?
Yes, candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
Can recent graduates apply for this internship?
Yes, recent high school or university graduates (1-3 years post-completion) can apply.
Is this internship available to international students?
Yes, international students are welcome to apply.
Are there opportunities for social work students?
Yes, the Wex is a designated field placement site for OSU's College of Social Work, and students may fulfill field placement hours with this internship.
What kind of professional development will interns receive?
Interns participate in center-wide internship cohort professional development sessions and gatherings throughout their internship.
What is the pay range for this internship?
The pay range is $13.00 to $14.00 per hour, based on the selected candidate's qualifications and internal equity.
Are both a resume and cover letter required for the application?
Yes, both a resume (or CV) and a cover letter are required to be considered for the internship.
Can I perform some of my work remotely?
Generally, the work is performed at the Wex, but visiting off-campus sites may be possible and discussions about remote duties can be held with the hiring manager.
