Responsibilities

  • - Develop your skills and knowledge to become a responsive, confident midwife able to care for women and their babies.
  • - Gain sound knowledge of what is normal and healthy in childbearing women, enabling recognition and management of problems they might face.
  • - Be supported through online resources, discussions, group working and reflection sessions during clinical placements.
  • - Engage in a blended approach to theory which includes online and face-to-face skills sessions.
  • - Participate in each clinical week, which comprises of 40 hours, a combination of 30 clinical hours and 10 hours of self-directed theory.
