Requirements

  • Fluent in English both in written and oral communication
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Experienced in preparing and giving presentations
  • Experienced in producing PowerBI Dashboards
  • Experienced in UI/UX Design and Data Analysis
  • Experienced in ELT Concepts and Scripting.
  • Able to work full time (40 hours) on the start date and for the agreed work term with a minimum of 2 days (16 hours) in the Toronto office
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Minimum 1 year completed in a degree in a field related to Engineering, Design, or Data

Responsibilities

  • Produce and maintain high-integrity PowerBI dashboards that analyze performance and operations of the Engineering department
  • Use data from Engineering tools to analyze performance in Engineering activities (DOORS - Requirements Management; Bitbucket– Software Development; Clearquest/SharedPalma – Configuration Management, Technical Debt)
  • Use data from enterprise tools to analyze wider business operations (SAP, Workday, Primavera – Purchasing, Resourcing, Budget and costs tracking)
  • Use key UI/UX principles including validating dashboards against User requirements
  • Promoting digitalization and data-driven operations
  • Highlight areas of poor data maturity and propose corrective actions
  • Provide end user training and technical support for using PowerBI and on UI/UX design
  • Ability to Define, Build and Document Extraction, Transition and Loading (ETL) pipelines
  • Experience with Scripting such as Python
