What is the main focus of the College Intern - Sustainability Policy position?
The main focus is to support the Sustainability Policy and Programs department in executing sustainability-focused employee programs that promote adoption and positive behavior change among employees to assist SRP in reaching its 2035 sustainability goals.
What qualifications are required to apply for this internship?
Applicants must have excellent research, organizational, analytical, and writing skills, as well as a strong customer service ethic. They should also be willing to work collaboratively, able to work independently, and have a commitment to quality, attention to detail, and a creative approach to sustainability.
Is prior experience in sustainability required for this position?
No prior experience in sustainability is required; however, candidates pursuing or with a sustainability degree program are preferred.
What types of tasks will the intern be responsible for?
The intern will support the sustainability team in managing employee programs, including event coordination, communications and content creation, research, data collection and reporting, employee support, outreach, and technical assistance.

Yes, the internship allows for flexible work hours to accommodate academic schedules and vacations.
What is the pay rate for this internship?
The pay rate depends on the candidate's completed credit hours.
How many college credit hours must a candidate be enrolled in to qualify for the internship?
Candidates must be currently enrolled and attending a minimum of 6 college credit hours per semester.
