  • Experience:
  • Requires a minimum of 6 months experience in the water resource management, natural resource management, environmental science, forestry, sustainability, economics, data analytics, or related fields.
  • Should have knowledge of Arizona water resources, sustainability or environmental concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with developing, drafting, and executing agreements, initiatives, grant or funding applications/ proposals, and policies to support and meet water conservation and forest health goals.
  • Assist with project management tasks, including planning and scheduling.
  • Works closely with academic institutions and third parties to prepare communications documents.
  • Monitor and analyzes trends, regulatory action and other activities affecting water conservation and forest management, sustainability or environmental markets.
  • Interact with and present to a wide variety of professional and public audiences representing SRP interests.
  • Support internal water planning and forest health analysts.
  • Support other departments and outside agencies requiring planning data and/or assistance related to planning for water resources.
