Requirements

  • Preference; enrolled or graduated from a Canadian degree or diploma program in Business (Marketing, Communications, Commerce) or Sport Management or relevant field.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Positive team player with an eagerness to learn and an affinity for building strong relationships
  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required
  • Self-starter and ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
  • Curiosity for and desire to learn more about the business of sport, and the sponsorship industry.
  • Strong time management skills to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Support all client deliverables related to sponsorship strategy and brand strategy
  • Support the development of strategic sponsorship evaluations and presentations
  • Perform research to help craft client proposals
  • Industry trend research (latest deals, spends, emerging brands, etc.)
  • Participate in day-to-day client communication as needed
  • Maintain the pulse on industry trends and category developments
  • Best practices - tracking and analysis
  • Brand and partner whitespace analysis
  • Marketing material creation (decks, imagery books, etc.)
  • Assist with administrative duties and office management
