Responsibilities

  • Join a dynamic team of analysts, actuaries, and business experts passionate about crafting and building healthcare data and analytics products;
  • Foster strong working relationships and effectively collaborate on teams with colleagues, clients, and carriers, spanning multiple functions;
  • Handle data requirements, gather information on client requirements, analyze and report on data;
  • Understand and use on-premises and cloud-based data warehouse/data lakes such as Snowflake and Databricks;
  • Understand, use and query SQL databases, Entity relationship diagrams (ERD), including ETL, Databricks data pipelines and Snowflake Lakehouse compute;
  • Implement automation and efficiencies wherever possible to streamline the process, minimizing the need for manual intervention, predominantly with Python and R programming;
  • Proficient in data visualization using PowerBI, including data modelling;
  • Evaluate, design, and implement sophisticated analytics solutions to address business needs;
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the group benefits industry, systems, products, trends, and emerging technology, while having a thorough understanding of how these relate to group insurance consulting; and
  • Participate in functional team activities which support the operations of the practice.
