What is the duration of the Equine Vet Internship?
The internship will run for 12 months, starting from late December 2024.

What type of work will the intern be involved in during the internship?
The internship primarily involves hospital-based work and in-patient management, with opportunities for ambulatory work and involvement in racecourse and international eventing competitions if desired.
What kind of caseload will the intern be exposed to?
Interns will be exposed to a hugely varied caseload, ranging from pleasure horses to top-level racehorses.
What specialties and areas will the intern gain experience in?
The intern will gain exposure to medicine, surgery, lameness evaluations (including objective gait analysis and MRI), anaesthesia, and reproduction.
What qualifications are required to apply for the internship?
Candidates must be registered with the RCVS or eligible to register to be considered for this role.
