  • ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for an Intern at NRG Park in Houston, Texas. NRG Park is in the fast lane for opportunity and excitement. We are a one-of-a-kind premier facility with four major venues within one giant park. NRG Center (one million+ sq. ft. Convention Center), NRG Stadium (home of the Houston Texans and the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo), NRG Astrodome (“The” Astrodome), and NRG Arena.  
  • We are seeking a creative Event Suite Sales Intern to work alongside our team! This internship opportunity will provide learning and hands-on experience in sales and client relationship management within the entertainment industry. Interns are expected to work a minimum of twenty (20) to twenty-five (25) hours per week with up to a 1-year commitment and must be currently enrolled in at minimum of a 2-to-4-year program.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Event Suite Sales team in identifying and targeting potential suite clients for NRG Park events.
  • Assist with event day preparation and activities for suites in the stadium.
  • Support the sales process by conducting research on potential clients, gathering contact information, and creating prospect lists.
  • Aid in the development of sales collateral, presentations, and proposals to showcase suite offerings and benefits.
  • Assist with the coordination and execution of suite tours, showcasing the amenities and features of the suits to prospective clients.
  • Participate in sales meetings and presentations, gaining exposure to the negotiation and closing processes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer relationship management records, tracking interactions and progress with potential and existing clients.
  • Support the preparation and execution of suite contracts, including managing contract documentation and ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, such as marketing and operations, to ensure seamless delivery of suite services and client satisfaction.
  • Assist with post-event suite evaluations, gathering feedback from clients to identify areas for improvement and upselling opportunities.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions related to suit sales.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry, file management, and reporting.
