Requirements

  • Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, with coursework completed in soils and structures.
  • Experience in summer internship, or other professional position, strongly preferred.
  • Willingness to travel on temporary assignments as needed.
  • Experience with software such as AutoCAD or ArcGIS and GINT, is a plus.
  • Physical ability to perform field work in summer and winter conditions.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Soil laboratory classification, review and interpretation
  • Perform field work as needed to support projects, including, but not limited to, field observation and data collection, soil and water sample collection, drill rig observation, and support of other field investigations
  • Assist with project drafting in AutoCAD
  • Work will be directed by various project managers
