  • Demonstrate proficiency in writing internal and external communications materials ensuring quality and consistency with AP writing style

Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor Edelman’s internal energy reporting platform, Sphera, for 65 global offices
  • Collect, audit, and organize environmental data used in Edelman’s emissions footprint calculations
  • Develop and maintain One Citizenship data bank and management system for various ESG reporting needs
  • Manage global network of 150+ local Citizenship representatives on implementing environmental strategy locally; field and address questions and concerns from members
  • Coordinate implementation of global initiatives to reduce emissions attributed to fuel and electricity use, waste production, travel, etc.
  • Attend and occasionally lead internal training sessions and presentations as well as external conferences, webinars, and speaking opportunities
  • Assist with the development and execution of internal communications to engage Edelman’s 6,000+ employees in Citizenship
  • Assist with tracking and calculating office Citizenship scores (C-Score) using published methodology; communicate scores with local leads and field questions
  • Research and compile materials needed for meetings, calls, projects, etc.
  • Coordinate and oversee document production and projects, as requested
  • Maintain files, contacts database, and record keeping needs of practice
  • Attend team meetings and take responsibility for follow-up action
  • Demonstrate prioritization and time management skills
  • Complete special projects as assigned, including creative design of materials, writing projects
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on project deliverables, timelines, and milestones, keeping all stakeholders informed and up to date
