   The Global Citizenship intern will work closely with the Global Citizenship team on day-to-day activities and prepare environmental data collection and management, regulatory reporting requirements, and sustainability-related requests from clients and partners. They will also participate in larger projects such as implementing global environmental sustainability initiatives and strategy, tracking progress towards our environmental goals, and effectively communicating sustainability efforts both internally and externally.

      Manage and monitor Edelman’s internal energy reporting platform, Sphera, for 65 global offices
      Collect, audit, and organize environmental data used in Edelman’s emissions footprint calculations
      Develop and maintain One Citizenship data bank and management system for various ESG reporting needs
      Manage global network of 150+ local Citizenship representatives on implementing environmental strategy locally; field and address questions and concerns from members
      Coordinate implementation of global initiatives to reduce emissions attributed to fuel and electricity use, waste production, travel, etc.
      Attend and occasionally lead internal training sessions and presentations as well as external conferences, webinars, and speaking opportunities
      Assist with the development and execution of internal communications to engage Edelman’s 6,000+ employees in Citizenship
