Yes, the Transportation/Highway Engineering Intern position is located at our Jacksonville, Florida headquarters.
What qualifications are required to apply for this internship?
Candidates must be current students pursuing a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering at an ABET-accredited university.
Are there any preferred qualifications for the internship?
Preferred qualifications include a GPA of 2.5 or above, prior internship or related experience, and familiarity with AutoCAD or Microstation.
What kind of tasks will the intern be responsible for?
Interns will perform routine calculations, prepare plan documents, collect and evaluate data, and provide support to engineering and project management associates.
Will the intern receive mentorship during the internship?
Yes, the intern will collaborate with and be mentored by experienced Engineering associates on the team.
Is prior experience with FDOT plans preparation necessary?
While prior experience with Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) plans preparation is preferred, it is not mandatory.
Are there opportunities for multiple assignments during the internship?
