Responsibilities

  • The Indirect Tax Intern will assist the Indirect tax team with the preparation of sales and use tax returns, state compliance, monthly close process, state tax audits, property tax filings, maintaining company tax records and files, and performing research related to use tax filings.
  • Assists with the preparation of monthly Sales and Use Tax returns.
  • Prepares monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Maintains company tax records and files.
  • Provide audit assistance by pulling and organizing requested information from auditors.
  • Process and validate exemption certificates while providing Fanatical Support to our customers and billing team.
  • Prepares and updates statistical and financial reports, both on a regular and specially assigned basis.
  • Performs tax research as needed.
  • Organizes data in Excel.
  • Operates under close supervision, with careful review of completed assignments.
