What is the primary function of the Industrialization Engineering Intern position?
The primary function is to support the Industrial Control Division's New Product Development product manufacturing strategy, including identifying and implementing Design for Manufacturing (DFM) improvements and preparing manufacturing sites for production.

The position is located at Eaton’s divisional headquarters, just 14 miles from downtown Milwaukee, WI.
What are some essential functions of this role?
Essential functions include designing assembly methods for new work cells, improving productivity of existing product lines, supporting the plant quality process, assisting with equipment projects, and creating documentation for new product launches.
What qualifications are required for this internship?
Applicants must be currently enrolled in a BS/BA or MS program in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering, with at least sophomore standing. They must also have a GPA of 2.8 or higher, excellent PC skills, and reside within 50 miles of Menomonee Falls, WI.
Is manufacturing experience necessary for this position?
While not mandatory, any manufacturing experience or previous co-op/intern experience is preferred.
What software skills are beneficial for applicants?
Beneficial skills include proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, and AutoCAD. Experience with ProEngineer software is a plus.
