Responsibilities

  • Design and establish assembly methods for new work cells procure and setup tooling and equipment for these new work cells to meet safety, quality and productivity goals.
  • Improve productivity of and reduce the floor space required by existing product lines through update of AutoCAD layouts and suggestions.
  • Support the plant quality process through mistake proofing new and existing business production operations.
  • Assist Engineering team with Identifying, justifying and implementing capital equipment projects.
  • Reviews engineering designs for manufacturing feasibility and recommends changes, as necessary.
  • Provide input for manufacturing fixtures and tooling.
  • Assist with plant layout and workstation design.
  • Learn and use ERP manufacturing software.
  • Create documentation for new product launches.
  • Presentation of final project and Root Cause Analysis to upper Management.
