Requirements

  • Degree level qualification (or working towards such qualification) in related subject (for example engineering, geography, economics, law)
  • Flexible and willing to undertake a wide range of tasks as needed to support the team.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral,
  • Strong interest in acquiring new skills and keeping pace with the rapidly changing nature of the carbon markets.

Responsibilities

  • Support client engagements, including tasks related to project coordination, service delivery and research
  • Undertake screening of client readiness to engage with ECM, including maturity of decarbonisation strategy and intended purpose of carbon credit use.
  • Support the preparation of PowerPoint presentations (both internal and for clients)
  • Participate in delivery of high-level screening of carbon crediting projects under guidance of Technical Director.
  • Monitor broker communications for relevant price changes and adapt rudimentary pricing tool
  • Media and market ‘watch’ on topics relevant to ERM Climate Markets business and associated carbon market projects. Preparation of news briefings for the team.
  • Responsible for delivering tasks as agreed with Partners and Managers within the ERM Climate Markets team.
