Requirements

  • Must have minimal amount of coursework knowledge or prior internship experience with IT governance and control system frameworks.
  • Working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology systems, Data Science, Accounting, Finance, Business/Administration, or related field with an interest in internal audit.
  • Desire to learn the principles and practices of internal audit.
  • Desire to be exposed to advance technology, including Financial Software, Tableau and Diligent Data Analytics.
  • Demonstrated skills in effective one-on-one and group communications.
  • Ability to deal professionally in a corporate or non-profit environment and assume responsibility for guiding projects and programs from inception through completion.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment managing multiple priorities involving multiple entities.
  • Required Equipment: Reliable WiFi Connection.
  • Intermediate to excellent proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Minimum availability of 20 hrs/wk, M-F between the hours of 8:30am-5pm.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future. For any roles working remotely, the work must also be performed inside the United States, not in a foreign country.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluating Cloud Computing for AZURE.
  • Receive exposure to the internal audit profession, including IIA Professional Auditing Standards.
  • Gain experience of key business processes of a non-profit organization, with international presence.
  • Assist in the planning phase on assigned segments of an audit.
  • Support and perform audit tests through the review and analysis of documentation and system databases.
  • Interact and engage with different stakeholders during the audit process.
  • Analyze data, using technology to support decision making.
