Responsibilities

  • As a Supplier Negotiation and Analytics Intern at Micron, you will have the opportunity to engage in negotiations with strategic suppliers and perform analytics on the supplier base within Indirect Procurement at Micron.
  • In this role, you will collaborate with experienced members of the Indirect Procurement team in setting negotiation strategies and category supply strategies, and in engaging in negotiations with suppliers.
  • You will perform data analytics and use that data to inform decision making and to lay the foundation for developing strategies.
  • You will analyze deal terms, help craft negotiation strategies, and perform risk and cost benefit analysis as our team makes decisions during ongoing negotiations.
  • You will also work to improve procurement processes.
