What types of projects will I work on during the internship?
You will contribute to meaningful and challenging projects such as supporting the RPA & RDA Program, facilitating Master Data Governance initiatives, working on the Accounts Payable Operational Excellence Project, and assisting with global manufacturing sites' Product Stewardship Program deliverables.
Where will the Finance Internship be located?
The Finance Internship will be located in Dublin, Ireland.
What qualifications are required for the Finance Internship?
Eligible applicants should be pursuing a third-level Undergraduate or Post Graduate Finance/Business Qualification, strive towards a 2.1 Grade in their degree course, and demonstrate excellent communication, teamwork, and innovation skills.
How long is the Finance Internship program?
The Finance Internship program offers a 9 or 12-month placement, starting in 2024.
What kind of support and training will be provided during the internship?
Interns will have regular access to senior leadership, participate in targeted training, and have opportunities to build their network within a global intern community.
Are there future opportunities available after completing the internship?
Yes, students who excel in the internship program are encouraged to apply for Abbott’s Professional Development Programs or other full-time positions.
Am I required to relocate for the internship?
Yes, there is a flexibility to be based at one of Abbott’s sites around Ireland, which may require relocation.
Do I need to have a background in STEM to apply?
While it is not mandatory, candidates should be passionate about STEM and interested in pursuing a career in a STEM environment.
