Responsibilities

  • Provide laboratory and operational support to Chemtrade manufacturing facilities at the Richmond, California Plant. Responsible for performing sample analyses using applicable internal and external analytical methodologies including associated documentation/certification.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Maintain accurate documentation of analysis results
  • Prepare sample using techniques that include but are not limited to weighing, filtering, drying, grinding, digesting and extracting
  • Perform wet chemistry analyses and generate certificate of analyses, where applicable
  • Assist management in ensuring all deliveries meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance to analytical equipment
  • Assist in troubleshooting operational quality issues
  • Assists with inventory management and procurement of laboratory supplies
  • Assist and serve as a backup for the Laboratory Technician as needed
  • Prepare, certify, and package product samples for shipment to customers and Chemtrade field personnel
