What is the duration of the internship?
The internship is for Summer 2025.
Where is the internship located?
The internship is based at our manufacturing facility in Cranberry Township, PA.
What type of projects will the intern work on?
The intern will work on a summer project that involves identifying and addressing a real manufacturing problem, collecting information on the shop floor, conducting data analytics, and creating a list of actions to solve or mitigate the issue.
Who will supervise the intern during their project?
The intern will be supervised by the current Senior Process Engineer.
What qualifications are required for the internship?
Applicants must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, or Electro Mechanical Engineering and must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Is prior manufacturing experience preferred?
Yes, prior manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
What is the minimum GPA requirement for applicants?
A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred for applicants.
What skills are important for a successful internship experience?
Important skills include problem solving, data analytics, strong writing and verbal communication, teamwork, and an independent work ethic.
Will interns receive professional development opportunities?
Yes, interns will have access to professional development opportunities, including business insights sessions with the Senior Leadership team, plant tours, and social activities.
Can international students apply for this position?
No, this position does not support visa sponsorship; applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
