Responsibilities

  • - Participate in in-plant quality improvement activities
  • - Identify opportunities for improvement in manufacturing activities
  • - Analyze manufacturing plant build constraints and provide suggestions to relieve schedule complexity
  • - Lead, design, and implement process design and improvements by utilizing process engineering tools (AutoCAD, Vision, Excel, etc.)
  • - Design the sequence of assembly operations, the layout and arrangement of equipment for parts and vehicle assembly and fastening (e.g., riveting, welding, screw driving, applying adhesives, etc.), labeling, sorting, and packaging.
  • - Support design engineering by resolving agreed-upon manufacturing problems caused by engineering or assembly
