Description
- Are you a creative, passionate, and results-driven student interested in marketing and analytics? The Data and Analytics Group is looking for you! Our team works with campaign and customer data to identify the best audience for AARP's programs and marketing communications. We'll challenge you to think and work innovatively on real-world projects that impact Americans aged 50 and older. Our ideal candidate is interested in marketing analytics, is detail-oriented, and has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. They should be comfortable working with data, collaborating with various teams, and communicating marketing insights into actionable recommendations. AARP is committed to your growth and cultivating your continued learning and development. This paid internship has an anticipated start date of June 2024 and will go through the end of the summer. Requirements
- Must be enrolled in a degree program at an accredited college/university rising undergraduate juniors or seniors, graduate students, or post-doctoral students and remain academically enrolled throughout the internship or must have previously graduated from college and enrolled in a continuing education program
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, anticipate project needs, and discern work priorities
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Experience/knowledge of direct marketing or campaign management is a plus
- Experience with data visualization, reporting, and Tableau is a plus
- Experience with data analysis using Excel, Access, SQL, P;ython, or SAS is a plus
- AARP will not sponsor an employment visa for this position at this time.
