Description

  • At Monster, everything we do is extreme. We push the limits, as do our athletes and consumers, and we’re looking for a Marketing Analytics Intern who will do the same – innovate, break barriers, and help Monster Energy reach new heights.    
  • The Marketing Analytics Intern, International will focus on helping to build analytics dashboard for the International business unit for Monster Energy Company brands across Latin America, Canada, Asia and Oceania. The role will report into the Senior Analytics and CRM Manager, International.

Requirements

  • Completing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Math, Economics, Statistics, Advertising, Marketing or other disciplines with demonstrated technical exposure
  • Comfortable using Ms Excel, Google Data Studio, Tableau or other dashboard building tool (Visualizing the data for customer understanding)
  • Must be proactive and focused, detail-oriented, self-motivated, results-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate about working with large volumes of marketing data and being able to piece stories together.
  • Beginner level experience in working with data, problem solving and communication with stakeholders
  • Beginner level skills and comfort with using tools such as Excel, SQL, Python for data exploration
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of marketing and advertising
  • Additional languages are a plus.
  • Fast learner with a curious disposition; proactive; always looking to learn and to teach others

Responsibilities

  • As an intern, you will be engaged in live projects and will work closely with Analytics, Digital Marketing, and Media Buying teams
  • Support the team in maintaining media analytics dashboards to bring data to life and minimize time doing manual analysis.
  • Develop data pipelines in order to ingest new data sources into marketing databases for easier analysis
  • Work with Digital Managers in each region and Media Buying Manager to understand media campaigns and account for data sources
  • Help prepare monthly reporting for each region and learn how to unearth the story behind the metrics and KPIs.
  • Learn to communicate technical concepts in a manner that is easy for marketers and non-technical partners to understand and vice versa
  • Use Netbase and Creator IQ to build always on social listening dashboards by region.
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
  • Participate in special projects as required, with responsibilities including data gathering, bespoke analysis and the presentation of results and recommendations to internal team
