Description
- The Reporting and Technical Accounting Intern is a valuable member of the finance accounting team at Intapp. This position will support the SEC reporting and technical accounting team and perform equity related accounting functions. This position will work closely with the Sr. Analyst and report to the senior manager of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a program for a Masters or Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 0-1 years of stock-based compensation accounting in a company, financial reporting and financial systems work experience.
- Experience working directly with accounting, FP&A, Legal and Investor Relations teams.
- Academic experience understanding about equity management platforms and SEC filing platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to think strategically and creatively, apply business acumen and exercise judgment.
- Proven track record of achievement, self-motivation, initiative and integrity
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively consistent with Intapp values
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Exposure in Netsuite, Adaptive, Salesforce, Aviso, PowerPoint, and similar systems (nice to have)

Responsibilities
- Support the team in the preparation or review of SEC filings, including Form 8-K, 10-Q, 10-K, Proxy and its associated XBRL tagging.
- Support by preparing supporting schedules and documentation for the financial statements including balance sheet, income statement, statements of cash flow and statements of stockholders' equity.
- Assist with journal entries, accounting analyses, forecast and reconciliations related to stock-based compensation, earnings per share, stock repurchases and other equity-based transactions.
- Assist with preparation and review of disclosure checklists and ensure compliance with all GAAP and disclosure requirements.
- Support activities with monitoring and revising existing procedures to ensure the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
- Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned
