Responsibilities

  • Execute and assist in global product and market strategies that result in compelling differentiators at right price level, achieving profitable sales and market growth, meeting global market requirements.
  • Follows the right strategies for understanding and structuring the market landscape (customers, competition, technology trends, macro-environment, industry environment evolution)
  • Realizes long-term penetration of current portfolio product, while preparing for successful investments in future products and services
  • Works with Strategic Marketing Manager to develop tactical plans per geographic market to meet the local customers’ needs, drive penetration of available technologies and secure targeted share of market.
  • Competition benchmarking to lead to a structured way of identifying customer (Voice of the Customer (VoC)) and market trends (regulations, disruptions)
  • Execute on Product line strategy focusing on a clear differentiation (technology, cost serviceability…)
  • Development of new product initiatives
  • Identifying new business opportunities and generating business plans for project approval.
  • Ensuring alignment of marketing and product development process, participation in product innovation and development projects
  • Development of value propositions and price positioning
  • Being expert for certain product ranges, customers, and competitors
  • Work on product presentations (Support business case preparation with pricing and differentiation strategy)
  • Work with Strategic Marketing Manager to drive analysis and decision process to invest in appropriate organic and inorganic opportunities.
  • Drive Product Line outperformance in line with AP /LRP commitment.
  • Participate, drive preparation and presentation at customer events (like tech days, innovation days)
