What is the duration of the Bartley Fellowship - Opinion Internship?

Who can apply for the Bartley Fellowship?
Juniors, seniors, or recent graduates (within one year of graduation) with reporting and writing backgrounds at their school newspapers or elsewhere can apply.

Applicants must submit a cover letter, résumé, links to or cited full text of their three best clips, and a response to one of the provided prompts in a single, complete PDF file.
What happens if I do not include all required application materials?

Is previous experience in journalism necessary for applicants?
Yes, applicants should have direct experience writing, and ideally editing, in a journalism context.

Bartley Fellows will assist in researching, writing, and editing content for the print and digital editions of the Journal, and they can submit their ideas for articles or projects to editors in any part of the Opinion section.
Is social media experience considered an asset for this internship?
