Work requires analytical ability necessary to prioritize work load. Must have a GPA of at least 3.0.

Responsibilities

  • Reports to Patient Care Manager.
  • Partnered with an RN who develops and supervises the Student Nurse Intern’s experience while retaining full accountability and responsibility for the care of assigned patients.
  • Performs basic nursing procedures appropriate for the age and/or development of the patients served on assigned unit.
  • In addition to performing normal duties of a Nursing Assistant, must demonstrate competency in technical nursing skills generally learned/acquired before beginning the last year of a nursing program; job duties will expand as skills are learned and competencies are documented by RN partner.
