What are the eligibility requirements for applying to the Summer Students position?
To apply, candidates must be in the penultimate year of their Spanish law graduate degree during 2024/2025, have a first-class academic record (a grade point average of a high Notable in core subjects), and be fluent in written and spoken English.
Where are the work placements located?
The work placements are available in our Madrid and Barcelona offices.
When does the application period end?
The application period ends at the end of January 2025.
What are the start dates for the work placement?
The work placement starts in June 2025 for Group 1, and in July and mid-August 2025 for Group 2.
What should I include in my application?
You should include your Curriculum Vitae, an up-to-date academic transcript, a cover letter, and any other relevant documents, including certificates that confirm your current level of English and any other languages.
What practice groups can candidates join during the work placement?
Candidates may join one of the following practice groups: Antitrust, Corporate/M&A, Employment Law, Global Financial Markets (Banking & Finance and Capital Markets), Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Public Law, Real Estate, and Tax.
What is the selection process for this position?
The selection process consists of meeting potential candidates at job fairs, receiving online applications, and then starting the work placement as per the scheduled groups.
