Responsibilities

  • Be assigned a project to complete by your manager during your summer term.
  • Introduced to Emerson and the Instrument product portfolio by attending high-level product training.
  • Support the growth of Emerson Measurement Solutions sales in the served industries of Energy, Chemical, Refining, OEMs, and Skid Builders.
  • Will get an opportunity to interact with the Sustainability team and get exposure with activities around it.
  • Shadow Field Sales on customer calls and interaction with Inside Sales.
  • Assist in building presentations and reports to help the sales team.
  • Conduct Territory Analysis and assist in Account Research.
  • Analyze various market trends in the regional market.
  • Participates in monthly regional calls and other team events.
  • Work with sales to develop customer value propositions for new and ongoing opportunities.
  • Attend customer product and solution training.
  • Get project experience by supporting the Project Engineers and activities around the selection of the right Instrumentation, usage of toolkit, etc. on assigned projects.
  • Do market research on competition and document opportunities and challenges.
