What is the duration of the internship?

We are seeking individuals who are curious about intellectual property and have a keen interest in patents, preferably those pursuing a bachelor’s and/or master's degree in physics, electrical engineering, computer science, or a similar high-tech background.
Will interns receive training during the program?
Yes, interns will attend informative induction sessions and training sessions that provide further insight into patent protection, the role of a patent attorney, and relevant IP rights and laws.
Will I have a mentor during the internship?
Yes, each intern is assigned a mentor and supervisor for the duration of the internship, typically consisting of a current patent scientist or associate and a partner.
Is there a potential for a permanent position after the internship?
Yes, successful interns will be considered for a permanent patent scientist/trainee patent attorney opportunity during the internship.
What skills and attributes are required for this internship?
Candidates should demonstrate a professional attitude, excellent communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, meticulous attention to detail, and initiative among other skills.
