What is the purpose of the Discovery Diversity Programme?
The Discovery Diversity Programme is designed for students from underrepresented groups, two years out from graduation, to be assessed for and apply to join the Summer Internships in 2026 before anyone else, while also gaining insights into the business world and career opportunities at Barclays.
When will the programme take place?
The programme will take place on April 9th and 10th, 2025.
Is the programme in-person or virtual?
The programme will be conducted in-person.
What activities can participants expect at the programme?
Participants can expect seminars, workshops, specific breakout sessions for their business area, networking opportunities with senior leaders and graduates, and assessments for the 2026 Summer Internship.
Who is eligible to apply for the programme?
Applicants must be two years out from graduation and can study any degree discipline. The programme particularly encourages students from diverse backgrounds, aligning with Barclays' DE&I agendas.
Does Barclays provide sponsorship for attending the programme?
No, Barclays does not provide sponsorship to attend the 2-day insight programme.
Will candidates requiring visa sponsorship be considered for the Summer Internship?
Yes, Barclays will accept applications from candidates who require visa sponsorship to work in the UK for the duration of the 2026 Summer Internship Programme.
What is the recruitment timeline for the programme?
Applications are being accepted on a rolling basis, and it is recommended that students apply early.
