Requirements

  • Technical Surfacing Expertise: Extensive experience (5+ years) in 3D CAD, with expert-level proficiency in PTC Creo creating Class-A surfaces to exacting standards. Additional knowledge of other CAD software used by our design team, such as SolidWorks, Rhino, Alias, and Fusion 360, is a significant advantage, along with knowledge of complementary 3D CAD techniques such as SubD modelling.
  • Design Sensibility: A strong understanding and appreciation of industrial design principles, coupled with a keen eye for detail and aesthetic refinement.
  • Engineering Acumen: Familiarity with mechanical engineering concepts and manufacturing processes, enabling you to create designs that are both beautiful and functional.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and clearly articulate your ideas (both visually and verbally).
  • Passion and Curiosity: A genuine passion for design and a desire to continuously learn and improve your craft.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Design or Engineering Degree from an accredited institution
  • Experience in the consumer electronics or gaming industries
  • Knowledge of advanced high-volume manufacturing processes

  • Experience preparing files for CNC, 3D printing, etc.
