Responsibilities

  • Assist and Support monthly closing activities including, but not limited to, reviewing non-routine revenue transactions, performing accounting assessments, preparing accurate journal entries, reconciliations, data analysis, documenting revenue conclusions and ad hoc requests
  • Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations for various revenue accounts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP
  • Perform reviews of revenue transactions of acquired contracts for accounting compliance with applicable US GAAP
  • Understanding and application of various business models of the software industry including SAAS offerings
  • Identify actionable insights and suggest recommendations to address issues and improve accounting processes/efficiencies
  • Partner closely with cross-functional to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices, automation, and continuous process improvements
  • To succeed in this role, you should also have a problem-solving attitude
  • Ensure compliance with internal control policies in a SOX environment
