Responsibilities

  • Create the GTM Category Strategy and brand activation per channel (aligned with the total category, strategy, brand ambitions, and in collaboration with BMs). Differentiate by retailer where appropriate, based on customer and shopper expertise.
  • Define, own and track the sell out and market share target at category, brand and customer level (aligned with divisional targets).
  • Design launch activation plans and hero SKU animation via shopper marketing initiatives. Maintain a yearly calendar of activation plans across each customer/brand giving visibility across the business.
  • Define the assortment master plan at category and brand level for all activations, in consultation with Marketing and RGM.
  • Consult with the RGM team to define the promotional guardrail strategy and any changes throughout the cycle.
  • Consult with Marketing and RCM’s on FDL’s, providing guidance on off location timings, mix and run rates.
  • Define POS/Category Event plans, including budget planning, S&OP forecasting for off locations, collaborating with the Merchandising/POS managers to develop the execution materials required for activation.
  • Ensure the activation plan is appropriately balanced between brands to meet category and brand targets.
  • Ensure alignment to category activation plans with brand teams.
  • Support CSH in gap closing category initiatives to accelerate customers or brands to achieve business targets.
  • Responsible for the trade marketing relationship with retailers; in collaboration with NAMs, present to retailers our GTM strategy and support NAM with selling stories to commercially land activation plans.
  • Participate in monthly S&OP meetings (FCM) to ensure customer forecasts reflect the activation & promotional plans.
