Responsibilities

  • - Assist with the implementation of the new fleet management software; transition to support of the software.
  • - Assist in guidance of fleet evolution as a new range of technologies are adopted.
  • - Oversee the motor pool reservation system, including scheduling and management of reservations for state agencies; Identify operational issues, cost savings and utilization.
  • - Maintain State inventory of over 3,000 vehicles.
  • - Develop the motor pool replacement and review plan.
  • - Develop and enforce fleet policies.
  • - Additional responsibilities include other aspects of fleet operations, such as maintaining vendor relations; assisting with scheduling maintenance and repairs; providing assistance to internal/external customers; process invoices; and receiving new vehicle deliveries.
