Responsibilities

  • Welcome and direct visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Handle incoming calls, screen and direct calls, take messages and provide information.
  • Act as backup for Administrative Assistant, Bolton ON for phones and info@peri email.
  • Responding and directing all leads to Sales that come through the info@peri.ca address.
  • Monitor and respond to the travelrequest@peri email.
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail, prepare outgoing mail and manage courier services.
  • Code all invoices that come in through email and mail.
  • Maintain and order supplies for Neopost Postage Machine, download rate changes as they occur.
  • Download rate changes on the FEDEX ship Manager program as they occur.
  • Monitor and order Office Supplies (Staples), Office Stationery, Photocopy paper, Toner/paper (engineering plotter), and File Bank Boxes.
  • Meeting room bookings and lunch orders.
  • General office support and assist with special events.
  • Evacuation Marshal in case of an emergency.
  • Gather daily attendance lists from all work areas.
  • Present attendance lists to all Evacuation Coordinators for taking attendance for their designated areas.
  • Update attendance charts monthly.
  • Primary for all travel bookings.
  • Monthly expense accruals.
  • Prepare reports for sales – Monthly won/lost projects.
  • Use protective personal equipment when required.
  • Report hazards and accidents.
  • Additional tasks as assigned.
