Responsibilities

  • The Administrative Director is responsible for growing the service line and has overall administrative responsibility for implementing the strategic vision for inpatient and ambulatory Women s Health Services
  • Partners with the system Women s Health Service Line and hospital leadership to conceptualize, implement, and track progress for the service line strategic plan and manages day to day tactics
  • Focused on outcomes for the Ocean County service area, the Administrative Director advances the clinical, financial, patient experience and operational performance of designated value systems, and engages key stakeholders, to determine care delivery improvement and collaboration opportunities
  • Establishes a clear vision for the service line with an emphasis on strategic and business planning with the goal of maximizing operational performance
  • Plans, organizes and directs operational, administrative and financial functions of the Women s Health Service Line including inpatient and outpatient services antenatal testing, gynecologic oncology, gynecologic surgery, labor & delivery, maternal fetal medicine, OBGYN, reproductive medicine, and urogynecology
  • Manages the tracking and timeline optimization for strategic projects and initiatives, facilities projects, development of new services, support for IT implementations, etc
  • Support and oversight of the Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency, Fellowship and Medical Student Programs
  • Oversight of quality and regulatory compliance in collaboration with clinical leadership and quality management including TJC, CMS, NJ Department of Health, NJ Department of Environmental Protection, Leapfrog, etc
  • Participates in the physician contracting process as needed by providing necessary data and preparing documents required for approval
  • Supervise department support staff
  • Overall relationship building and contracting with vendors and physicians
  • Actively participate in external and community engagement outreach activities to advance strategic initiatives
  • Responsible for managing the overall marketing activities of the practice in collaboration with marketing team
