Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the director/Institutional Effectiveness office, including coordinating IE event, meeting, and project logistics.
  • Develop and deploy communications and/or promotions for IE events/annual processes.
  • Assist with the execution of special projects to varying degrees; including but not limited to Shared Competencies, Faculty Portfolio System, Middle States (institutional accreditation), the University’s Educational Effectiveness Committee, Program Review, and Watermark.
  • Provide purchasing and budgetary practice and planning for the IE office.
  • Plan, order, and reconcile financial purchases of varying size and importance including credit card reconciliations, contract renewals, special promotional good requests, etc.
  • Act as a liaison for the IE director between deans, chairs/directors, IE staff, faculty, staff, students, and various departments within and outside the University.
  • Greet and interact with guests visiting the office, in person and over the phone.
