Description
- An Analyst of StepStone Private Equity in London will be focused on supporting the local Private Equity team in its investment activities and will be active across all investment types (primaries, co-investments and secondaries in a buyout, venture or growth equity setting).
Requirements
- BA/BS in Business, Finance, Math, Engineering, Economics or Accounting, or equivalent relevant
- Demonstrated track record of academic and professional success
- 1-3 years in Investment Banking or Consulting
- Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to represent the Firm credibly in written and interpersonal communications
- Demonstrable analytical capabilities, including strong quantitative/modeling skills
- Leadership potential
- High proficiency in Word, Power Point and Excel
- Flexibility—StepStone is a dynamic and entrepreneurial organization; all professionals are expected to perform multiple functions as the firm continues to grow and develop
- Promote and demonstrate a positive, team-oriented attitude
- European language skills (desirable)

- Develop a basic understanding of the private equity landscape and industry trends
- Interpret financial analyses, prepare valuation analyses and use available information to identify, quantify and analyze trends across a variety of industry sectors
- Form an independent opinion about the attractiveness of an investment opportunity and efficiently communicate that opinion both verbally and in written materials; be able to defend position in a team environment, including Investment Committee meetings
- Support Senior staff on sourcing and managing the investment processes
