  • PhD in relevant field which is grounded in analytical measurements, OR Masters degree in analytical discipline, OR significant Analytical experience, preferably including broader industry experience,
  • Good knowledge of analytical techniques used for product development and quality controls.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – must be able to effectively interact with a team environment, of different nationalities and at different levels within the company.
  • Strong Analytical thinking and problem solving.

Responsibilities

  • Work with multifunctional teams globally to set analytical testing strategy and deployment of analytical resources.
  • Work with external contract sites to support product development and with P&G Quality Control labs globally to manage product release testing.
  • Provide high quality standardised methodology execution in accordance to P&G and/or external authority requirements.
  • Ensure timely delivery of testing data and reports for testing to include:
  • Sample and solution preparation, Sample submission logging into Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELN), Technical troubleshooting (instruments and/or methods), Chromatography: GCMS, GC-FID, HPLC (preferred but not essential).
  • Conform to site and lab Health, Safety and Environment requirements and comply with principles of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
  • Train laboratory analytical chemists in the agreed and established methods and be the first contact for technical troubleshooting (instruments and/ or methods).
