  • What qualifications will make you successful?
  • The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a similar discipline
  • New grad to three years of relevant experience
  • You should also be a self-starter with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and platforms
  • Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential for success in this role
  • Desired qualifications:
  • Knowledge of programming languages including C++, C#, C# script, VB.NET, and Powershell
  • Knowledge of SCADA, preferably Enterprise SCADA (OASyS) is desired but not mandatory
  • Familiarity with PLCs, Field telemetry and communication protocols such as Modbus, DNP3 and EtherNet/IP, MQTT and OPC.
  • SQL database skills (queries, table creation, programming, reporting, admin)
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure and/or OT Security, including Active Directory is also desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Design and development of HMI displays using the latest industry standards
  • Configuration of SCADA databases
  • Develop customer reports using Excel, SQL Server Reporting Services (SRRS) and other reporting tools
  • Software development for project customizations including customer enhancements, communication protocols to field devices, scripts, calculated points and corporate interfaces
  • Provide onsite support for system testing, commissioning and cutover including debugging solutions
  • Perform bug fixing and maintenance on established products
  • Participate in providing product documentation, including user level and internal documentation
