  • Take privacy requirements from the Legal team and turn these into epics that technical teams can deliver.
  • Build a picture of the technical landscape of Booking.com as it relates to privacy. Work with system owners across the organisation to understand what customer data is collected, what consent is required, and ensure that we honour this consent.
  • Identify which teams need to be involved across the business units to deliver the privacy requirements and ensure that these requirements are in the teams' backlog.
  • Educate engineers across booking to understand the "why" behind privacy requirements and ensure that everybody considers privacy when building solutions.
