Responsibilities

  • - Responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight of the award-winning arts programme at NUH, known as Arts at NUH.
  • - Work with both internal and external stakeholders and partners to deliver a high quality and varied programme that supports patients and staff.
  • - Represent NUH within the National Arts in Hospitals Network and lead on prospective projects at a national level.
  • - Secure funding and manage budgets and resources associated with the project.
  • - Work closely with the Communications and Engagement team to develop a formal strategy for the next phase of the programme.
  • - Support the improvement of wellbeing across our hospitals through exhibitions, activities and performances, involving patients, staff and the local community.
  • - Ensure the programme is research-based, representing the staff and patient voice.
  • - Organised and able to manage multiple projects, budgets and contacts to ensure the swift and planned delivery of the project.
  • - Offer advice to colleagues across the Trust to support them in delivering effective arts.
