Responsibilities

  • The role will support our new Director of Communications, Marketing and Engagement and will work closely with senior colleagues internally and externally.
  • The post holder will support the further development of the new Trust’s communications, marketing and engagement function, providing advice and expertise on all aspects of communications, marketing, staff and stakeholder engagement, and helping to maximise opportunities to promote the Trust’s work and reputation.
  • The post holder will lead and manage the Communications Team on a day to day basis in support of the Director of Communications, Marketing and Engagement, working both hands-on and strategically.
  • The post-holder will need to be able to influence and persuade senior colleagues on appropriate communications, marketing and engagement approaches, as well as deal confidently with journalists on high profile issues.
  • The post holder will also be responsible for the execution of the Communications, Marketing and Engagement Strategy for the new North London NHS Foundation Trust, to increase the visibility and recognition of the Trust’s brand and services and position us as the premier employer in mental health care in North London.
  • In order to meet the needs of the new Partnership services you may be required from time to time to work at different locations to your normal place of work.
