Responsibilities

  • Supervises SI Coordinator and graduate assistant(s).
  • Oversee, with the support of Director and Administrative Coordinator, budgetary needs. This includes budget oversight and office purchases.
  • Maintain and monitor office statistics for dissemination and program evaluation for improvement. This includes maintenance of semester statistics and SI related annual report information.
  • Supports SI Coordinator in hiring, training, and providing professional development opportunities to graduate assistant(s) and SI Leaders.
  • Develops and maintains assessments and evaluations of supplemental instruction policies and procedures to effectively implement needed changes for program improvements.
  • Creates and maintains technology associated with successful implementation of the supplemental instruction program. This includes but is not limited to Navigate and online content.
  • Collaborates with faculty, staff, and departments across campus to create working relationships that promote supplemental instruction efforts and opportunities.
  • Coordinates the development, revision, and distribution of marketing, educational, and informational publications and materials related to the Learning Center and the Supplemental Instruction program.
  • Supervises all office personnel and operations as needed in the absences of other leadership.
  • Positively represents the Learning Center at various events on and off campus. This includes, but is not limited to conferences, committees, campus events, and orientation.
