Responsibilities

  • The Certification & Licensing Division is responsible for protecting the public by assuring only qualified applicants become certified to engage in certain regulated professions and further assuring that, once certified, the professionals comply with regulatory standards. This Division seeks a motivated, detail-oriented person to fill the role of Administrative Assistant who will provide advanced administrative, clerical, and technical support for the Certification and Licensing Division Certification, Boards, and Support Unit.
  • This position will perform duties such as scheduling and calendaring in-person and virtual board/committee meetings, redacting and scanning documents for board/committee review and preparing materials for meetings.
  • This position will also maintain databases, and compile statistical information, produce data reports, maintain, conduct period review of program forums, answer phone calls from the public, and set up, proctor and coordinate program examinations to include exam reviews.
  • In addition, this position will also assist with records retention, and maintain the Certification and Licensing websites.
  • This position may be eligible for a hybrid-telework schedule once the employee has completed three (3) months of employment and has sufficiently proved their ability to perform assigned tasks.
  • Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program qualified employer.
